The magnificent temple of Maa Baglamukhi Mata is located on the banks of Lakhundar River in Nalkheda, Agar-Malwa district. This temple is important for both religious and tantric practices. The Baglamukhi Havan (fire ritual) performed here is famous worldwide. People from India and other countries come for darshan (worship), havan and puja (prayer). Here devotees' wishes are fulfilled.
Located about 100 kilometers from Ujjain in Nalkheda, Agar Malwa district, Maa Baglamukhi Temple is situated on the banks of Lakhundar River. This temple holds great religious and tantric significance. The idol of Maa Baglamukhi in the temple dates back to the Pandava era, as mentioned in Kalika Purana. The temple houses three deities - Maa Baglamukhi in the center, Mahalakshmi on the right, and Maa Saraswati on the left in Pindi form. During Dwapara Yuga, Lord Krishna advised the Pandavas during their exile to worship Maa Baglamukhi. Among the ten Mahavidyas, Maa Baglamukhi is the eighth Mahavidya. The worship of Maa Baglamukhi is considered infallible. This temple is over 500 years old.
